The test works. When I use the contact form it goes to my email. The content within the email does not appear – just the “thank you for submitting” that should go to the person generating the email.

    Here is what shows up:

    Subject: Contact Us

From: Bill Smith <[email protected]> (Add as Preferred Sender)
    Date: Tue, Feb 13, 2018 5:03 pm
    To: [email protected]

Thank you for contacting us. We will get back with you as soon as possible.

The from should have been [email protected]
The message should have said: “Is the content showing up?”

    HELP ??

    I don’t understand what doesn’t work.
The plugin goal is to send emails. The emails were sent and you received them. If the content of the email is different – that’s not the WP Mail SMTP fault. Something else is changing the content and/or headers. Most likely – your contact form notification settings.
WP Mail SMTP overrides them only when they are standard generated by WordPress.
