Test Mode vs LIVE Issue

  • Hi there

    I have created a rule to show certain products in ZA (the ISO code for South Africa) as the shop is based in South Africa and we cannot ship certain things overseas. I am assuming creating the rule to SHOW something in ONE country hides it from the rest of them, correct?

    Then I need help with the test mode. I have created the rule and it does not work when I go and visit the site but once I select TEST MODE, then the rule works.

    I re-read the instructions just to make sure that we aren’t supposed to have test mode activated in order to use the plugin and we aren’t. Please can you assist?

    Hello,

    So it depends on many things in which we don’t have control over. The list of IPs are from a static database from GeoLite2 (FREE) version which gets periodically updated. If the IP address of the user does not match the rule you inputted, then the rule will not apply. This can happen also if they use a IP masker on their end or perhaps VPN.
