I have tried processing some payments in test mode, but they have gone through for real. I have now lost about £1 in fees to Stripe! And yes, before you ask, I toggled test mode on both wordpress and Stripe dashboard.

    Hello @robinkholland,

I’m sorry for the issue that you are having.

Please remember that each individual form can be assigned its own mode, making testing fast and convenient. You can find the?Payment Mode?setting in the?Payment?tab of the form builder.

So even if the Global setting is Test mode, an individual form can be set to Live mode and vice versa.

Please check each individual forms setting as well as the Global setting.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Adam,

Many thanks for your reply, but I did this. I had all 3 settings in test mode and still Stripe was charging live payments.

    Hello again.

Interestingly, with forms that are in Test mode, you cannot use a real credit card and must use a Stripe test card number such as 4242-4242-4242-4242. Test mode forms will not accept a real card and will return an error.

Live mode forms will also not accept Test mode card numbers.

Your payment form must be in Live mode for a transaction to be processed with a real card number. Here is Stripe’s documentation of such.

    Kind regards,
