Test Mode is backwards?

    I am having issues with the PayPal Donations gateway and the plug-in testing status in general. I successfully connected the PayPal live account as well as the PayPal sandbox testing account but when I put the form into test mode, it didn’t show the “CURRENTLY IN TEST MODE” banner at the top of the form; my tests completed fine but when I disabled test mode in settings, that’s when the front end form showed “test mode”.

    I refreshed , cleared the cache , hard refresh and still it shows the “test mode”? and the “Pay with PayPal” option on the form is gone. Also the venmo option didn’t show up in test mode or live mode (along with the PayPal option which is missing when settings says test mode is disabled & page says it’s enabled) even though I had Venmo enabled in settings before I even connected the accounts. I also have PayPal Donations enabled for both test mode and live mode and not PayPal standard.

    another question I have is about the setting about all donations going to the default account? Our default account is Stripe debit/credit gateway; Does this setting mean that even PayPal donations with no fees will be routed to the stripe account and will stripe take its 2% fee ?

    I accessed your site today and noticed that the Test Mode is disabled, so you are ready to receive donations. Is everything correct now? If you still need help with it, let me know.

    About the default account, if you use Stripe, Stripe fees will be applied. If you use PayPal, the donation will be sent to PayPal. The payment gateways are not related to each other.

    @matheusfd correct it’s not in test mode so that my clients can take donations but I’m not getting “Pay with Paypal “ or venmo even though the PayPal live account is connected and PayPal Donations is enabled as a payment gateway.
