    Hey there flow,

    How are you doing today?

Lossy compression is available only in the premium version of the plugin by using Super-Smush which uses that specific compression so in case you’re using premium version you can try it out by going to Media -> WP Smush and checking Super-Smush Images option, see screenshot https://screencast.com/t/cwpV6Bv3oPtN.

Otherwise the default one that is being used in the free version of the plugin is lossless.

If you have any additional questions please let me know ??

    Best regards,
    Bojan

    Hi Bojan,

I realize I can test it when I buy the plugin. But I would like to see the quality before I buy, like I can do with tinyjpg, zara4, jpegmini, etc.

Thing is, it’s very important that the image quality is high enough, and most engines I tried so far compress too much (there are some that are good though so i’ll def go with lossy – it’s just a matter of finding the one that has the best balance for us).

    Thanks.
