    ssl Test fails
according to the instructions I do not need to alter any code, this a managed word press using a godaddy ssl cert

It is a managed word press. I applied and bought an ssl from Godaddy. this was 3 days ago. and even after initiating the plug in on the dash board:

    WP Force SSL
WP Force SSL is a one-click solution that helps redirect visitors from unsecure HTTP connection to a secure HTTPS one without the need to edit any code.
There’s nothing to configure, just by activating the plugin everything is enabled and configured.
Requirements for running a site on SSL
If you already have an SSL certificate installed TEST IT to make sure it works.
If you don’t have one get quality hosting that offers free certificates and installation.

Make sure “Force SSL” option below is enabled (green). (AND IT IS GREEN)
Check that WP Address & Site Address settings have an https:// prefix set.

    AFTER PRESSING THE TEST IT:

    Test Failed
cURL error 35: error:14077438:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:tlsv1 alert internal error

  • @fredlwood the ssl is not configured correctly on your server. Beside that, and taking a look into the error, it seems also the ssl stuff is also not updated on that server.

Ask your host provider to configure correctly the ssl for you and update openssl to last versions… That error is coming inside the server and not from the plugin itself.

If you search google about tlsv1 alert internal error you will see that this is not plugin or wordpress related but server related.

Since the server is Godaddy.com, they should be correcting this issue. Hence despite my two chat sessions with them has not helped I’m at a standstill til they get it figured out, thank you for your update and the time you took to look at this for me
