    Hi there,

I have exactly the same issue than a previously opened thread. Followed the different steps of troubleshooting and it didn’t work.

It’s driving me crazy because it’s so weird: depending on the email address I send emails to, emails are received or not. Worst:
-sending email to [email protected] works but the email is never received

-sending email to [email protected] works and the email is received

I have the same issue with another domain (beweelsociety.com).

Not sure what could cause that!

    Thanks in advance,

    Clément

  • Hi @clementbeweel,

Thanks for reaching out and I’m sorry about the trouble!

Both email addresses you shared (as recipients) are hosted on Google. Is your WP Mail SMTP install (on both your websites) set up with the Gmail/Google Workspace mailer as well?

Please kindly bear in mind that if you are using custom domain names on Google, you’ll have to add SPF and DKIM records to your domain’s DNS. This usually eliminates inconsistencies in email delivery.

We have this mentioned in the FAQ section of the Google mailer setup guide:?

    https://wpmailsmtp.com/docs/how-to-set-up-the-gmail-mailer-in-wp-mail-smtp/#spf-record.

The URL above also has links to Google on how to set up the SPF and DKIM records.

Besides this, please also check and ensure there is no email filter setup for the email address that’s not receiving emails. This is another potential reason why you could be seeing emails in one email address and not the other.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks. ??

Thanks for the super quick feedback! I’m using Sendgrid as SMTP.
I actually just found one issue: my [email protected] was bouncing. I discovered that into my Sendgrid activity feed where I could saw why the email was not delivered.
I also realized that, while I was using a new domain, I used the same parent account as my other company. This led to sharing the unsubscribes status of user. I’ll go ahead and create a dedicated subuser within sendgrid instead of using the same account.

For the [email protected] address I’m still investigating, as the Sendgrid activity feed shows the email was delivered…

    Hi @clementbeweel,

    Thanks for the update.

Please feel free to let us know if there’s anything else you’d like for us to help with.

    Thanks. ??
