• Hey Team,

I’ve added my API key and everything, but when I click on “test cache” I get an error saying “Unable to find the Cache-Control response header.” Any help?

    Here is the full error:

“Page caching seems not working for both dynamic and static pages.

Error on dynamic page (https://fan-insider.com): Unable to find the Cache-Control response header.

Error on static resource (https://fan-insider.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-cloudflare-page-cache/assets/testcache.html): Unable to find the Cache-Control response header.

Please check if the page caching is working by yourself by surfing the website in incognito mode ’cause sometimes Cloudflare bypass the cache for cURL requests. Reload a page two or three times. If you see the response header cf-cache-status: HIT, the page caching is working well.”

Update: I’ve clicked on “test cache” several times over the past day and recently got a message saying that everything is working properly now. I didn’t do anything different or change any settings. Perhaps it was a glitch before? Weird, but I’m glad things are working.

With it working now, the next step would just be for me to click on “start preloader” under the advanced tab correct? Is anything else I would need to do? I apologize for the questions, I am fairly new to all of this and came across this plugin that had really good reviews. Just trying to find ways to speed up my website is all. Thanks!

    Hi @justingiles ,
no you don’t need to manually start the preloader
