Tesseract theme page expanding problem

Hi, I’m using the Tesseract Theme created by Tylor Moore. Right now I am having a page expending / display problem. The page is here:

For some reason the template won’t expand like an empty page. An example is here.

I noticed that if the text is short enough the expanding effect would work, but as the text gets longer, it will break the effect and leave the ugly blank space beneath the footer. A working page is here:

Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks.
