Terribly unintuitive and confusing to set up

  • Do yourself a favor and use the Add Link to Facebook plugin instead.

    You still have to set up a Facebook app, which is confusing in itself, but at least the Add Link to Facebook plugin is easy to understand and links up to your FB App easily.

    After trying unsuccessfully for hours with the “Official” Facebook plugin, I was able to start publishing blog posts to a Facebook page with Add Link to Facebook plugin within a few minutes.

    Maybe Facebook should just stick to completely changing their unbelievably convoluted and confusing development tools every few monts.
