The free version of Media Cleaner is powerful and analyzes your WordPress media library just like the Pro Version. Unlike you said, it does not remove everything because you haven’t bought it. This statement is really a shock to me.
The Pro Version offers additional features, such as detecting the usage of images and files by specific page builders and plugins. As the developer, I invest significant time and effort into analyzing and implementing checks for every single page builder and plugin. Media Cleaner is the only plugin that offers this unique functionality, and that is the reason why.
Most users recognize the value and complexity of Media Cleaner and use it effectively, while some may not fully appreciate the challenges involved. I would love to see them actually developing and maintaining a plugin. There is a reason why Media Cleaner still exist, and work amazingly for a lot of users, but you probably just miss it.
