Terrible, intrusive and poor

  • There is only 1 feature I recon some merit, and that’s the posts SEO optimization. Everything else are ads for you to spend your money in more useless crap. The features are very limited, some conflict with other plugins/theme, and others don’t even work. Do you want a robot.txt? Make it yourself. This SEO plugin doesn’t do the basic of what a SEO plugin is supposed to do. Do you want to edit your httpacces? Do it yourself. Do you want to have multiple keywords to your posts? Buy their premium. Do you want to have a clean sitemap? Impossible. You are a tool of their advertisement strategy. Ads are injected in the code everywhere. Awful, intrusive and highly upsetting. I used it for 1 day as a try-out and will not re-install.

    Almost 8 months have passed since your review. Are you still using our plugin? If not, we’ve made a ton of changes to Yoast SEO and would like to invite you to give the plugin a new try. In fact, we’ve added functionality to disable entire parts of the plugin, to allow you to use only what you need. Notifications and tools can be toggled on and off to your liking.

    If you want to learn more about the plugin before installing it, we feel our knowledge base is the best place to start.
