Terrible formatting / no support

    For some reason the plugin adds the username and date of the user who creates the testimonial and appends it (with no spacing) to the end of each review. I’ve tried contacting support and haven’t received a response in days.

    Hello,

    You can see the issue I’m experiencing at https://www.pawsitivehomecare.com/#section-testimonials

    We’ve received a few testimonials via email- so they don’t necessarily have a username. I do want the User’s Name that I enter to show on the page. The problem is that it also shows a date with MY username (and no space between) immediately after the testimonial.

    Would you mind sending me one of the testimonial’s with the formatting that you receive so I may test on my side?

    I copied one of your testimonials on your site, tested it on my side (After adding a space after the date) and it kept the space between the date and your username.

    Hello,

    The formatting is fine, it’s just text. The issue is a system generated time/username being inserted immediately after the testimonial text. I’ve uploaded an image to Imgur here: https://i.imgur.com/iY20xLM.png and highlighted the problem text. I don’t want the date or russellholdings showing up in the testimonial text.

    We suspect a plugin may be appending the post date and author to the excerpt of the testimonial as our plugin does not append the above to the end of it.

    Would it be possible for you to send a screenshot of any plugins you may be using that could be causing this so we can try replicate it on our side and try work around it?

    Please confirm that the date and your username are being automatically appended to the end of the testimonial? Or is that part of the testimonial body that is being copied and pasted into WordPress?
