TERRIBLE! DO NOT USE to edit your PHP files!!!!

    This module caused a TON of issues on a clients website I was working on. It works to move a file, but DO NOT EDIT a file or you can kiss your WordPress goodbye.

    It adds characters to files when you edit them and saves them all screwed up. If you edit a WP file be prepared for a mess. Once you save a WP file your WordPress will CRASH. The only way to correct it is to use a real FTP program to replace the edited file with a good copy. Because of all the crap it adds to the file you will spend hours trying to remove all the rouge text this FTP editor added.

    Nice idea on a module, but terrible if you need to edit a file. Might as well use a real FTP program and save yourself hours of frustration.

    Well, my clients website in Singapore is still DOWN and I’m in the USA. I cannot reach the client because of the time difference. What was supposed to be a simple edit to a php file turned into a nightmare because your software put slashes throughout the php file. Thank God I made a backup of the file beforehand, but right now I still cannot access the clients website and their WordPress is crashed because of this. So what kind of support are you going to offer me when I’m locked out of a clients website because of this?

    If your editor does not have the capability to edit php text files properly then you should not offer that function. I have a real mess right now because I used your module. I doubt any support you can give me at this point is going to help. My only hope is finally reaching the client and getting real FTP access to fix the problem your module caused. Sorry, but its the truth. DON’T EDIT PHP FILES WITH THIS SOFTWARE!

    it just did same to my clients live site – HELP!!! even removing it all by ftp doesnt help!!!

    how do i fix this???
