Terrible database performance!

  • I really need this plugin, but after using it for several days I had to review it and tell you why I’m giving it a 1 star rating. After installing Product Visibility by User Role for WooCommerce, I had to purchase higher performance for my google cloud instance 2 times, the plugin cause MySQL to go from 3-10% CPU to 180% CPU, slowing down my Cloud hosted website with load-times over 10 seconds.

    With the plugin disabled, CPU and Memory usage is low, load-time is 1-2 sec, with the plugin enable, MySQL CPU usage goes over the roof, causing 3 vCPU’s to Max.

    You were right. There was really a problem with performance.
    I just released a new version (1.2.1) that saves results in transients and it really improved the load times.

    Can you please give it a try? Hopefully you can change your review.
