• I installed and configured this to collect email addresses, which it did great, problem is that a short time later I could no longer login, could not find support other than help files. The person who initially emailed me that he was my account mgr, was unresponsive. I’m super busy and figured I’d eventually resolve the issue, but then started getting automated emails that my account was going to be deactivated if I did not login. Anyway looks like you get zero support if you dont pay, I suspect my account is simply locked out. I was able to change the password, logged in, but only get a page that says I have no accounts.
    And so Hubspot collected all of this info, which I will probably lose. I cant imagine getting these customers to sign up again.
    I guess you get what you pay for.

    Support is not permitted for any pro product. That is true. BUT! When a plugin upsells then the developer fully opens the door do reviews about that experience.

    1. They Installed it to collect email addresses. They said it was GREAT.
    2. They than “forgot” their email address / passed to log in to the premium portal
    3. They tried to “reset” and it did not work they said.
    4. They did email us and we did “reset” it.
    5. They replied again and said it did not work, but we confirmed by logging in directly.
    6. They account was going to be deactivated for security purposes and for the “renewal”
    7. We did EVERYTHING in our power to help. We had to deactivate because:”
    8. They did not upgrade, expected free support on the premium version and…
    9. Our logs showed 100+ log in attempts from different locations.
    0. Please let me know anything else you need.

    I do understand that we upsell and I appreciate the community for that and I do appreciate you as a moderator. I have no problem. But when someone comes in and does a review about how they got locked out because they forgot their password or because they got locked out because we detected a security threat or because they wanted free support on a paid service. I think that is not fair. That is all. If you look at our plugins. You will see that we reply to every person in hours and we do our best to make our customers 10000% happy, even the ones that want free support (We do not mind).

    That’s all very interesting but what does this have to do with this review?

    I think this is the whole of your point.

    But when someone comes in and does a review about how they got locked out because they forgot their password or because they got locked out because we detected a security threat or because they wanted free support on a paid service. I think that is not fair.

    That’s unfortunate.

    Have you considered contacting the plugins team and asking them how you can self-service the removal of your plugins from this site? That will not remove any old reviews but it will prevent new reviews from showing up here.

    If you are going to upsell on this site, and you do, then you should get used to this situation. Stop reporting reviews that you dislike again. That’s not sufficient reason to report a review and you already are aware of that.

    but it is not our plugin , we do not ask for login , it hubspot’s oficial plugin where you login and can manage many hubspot things from wordpress

    which account ? Hubspot’s official plugin asks you to login

    in our plugin , you enter hubspot API key , and create feeds for any contact form
    who is account mgr and support ? i think you are talking about hubspot suport, you never contacted us

    Have you tried to find support for this plugin? Every link that says “contact support,” takes you instead to help files.
    If you’re going to claim you support the product, you should make it easy to actually contact you.

    The comments from this Hubspot support person (Samer Bazzi (@sbazzi)) above say it all.

    You completely misinterpret the review, throwing in a lot of false information.
    I never said "I forgot my password," in fact have it documented in text as well as saved by my password mgr. I don't know that it was locked, that was speculation, in fact receive only 1 error which said "You have no accounts."
    You claim that support responded, but that is not true, neither is 100 failed login attempts. It seems you're just making things up. 
    I did not install this because it was free, in fact I could not find any path to support or option to upgrade, the only way I knew support was a paid option was reading another review that did not provide info on how to access. I sent an email reply to an email address provided when I installed the plugin, from a person who claimed to be my account representative, I received no reply. 
    Your input on this review is little more than a made up excuse, it says a lot about Hubspot, ethics, support, it also confirms my decision to find a better product from a different company. I went with Hubspot, BC I thought it was a reputable company and the features. My larger take away was that I was never able to use this BC I could not access the email addresses being collected. Despite that it seemed to be working, it serves no purpose if I am not able to use it.  
    My point in reviewing the plugin was to provide feedback to others looking for such a plugin, I was not looking for support, certainly not to argue.

    When you install Hubspot’s official plugin , it starts capturing email from all contact forms

    it is a common issue that people install both hubspot plugins and mix up both
