Terrible

  • Many problems:

    1: Unhelpful and lack of documentation, or if there is any its useless.

    2: Lack of support, or rather any reply is the author telling you to go to this page of documentation (see reason 1).

    3: The support forum is just as bad (see option 1 and 2).

    4: No replies from their email support and if there is see option 2!

    It doesnt even have ReCaptcha, or a field to allow a front end user to manually set the category/tag.

    I wouldn’t advise buying pro. theyre clearly only after the money.

  • I have to disagree, I am a Pro user (not affiliated with the author of this plugin in any way) and I always receive an answer to my support requests within 24-48 hours. Bug fixes are usually in the next version of the plugin. This plugin is insanely powerful, and I’ve always been able to find the documentation I need.

    The forum on their site is clearly labelled as a community forum, not for official support. It’s for users to help one another, and I try to post there once in a while to help users out.

    I use the Pro version of this plugin on multiple sites every day and I absolutely couldn’t live without it.

    I have to disagree as well. ACF is awesome and the developer has put a lot of effort into making a useful and easy-to-use product. He’s not just trying to make a quick buck.

    I don’t normally comment on other people’s ratings, but I had the urge to disagree on OP’s views especially on documentation. I started using ACF when I was just picking PHP about 2 years. I saw its power and decided to get Pro and never looked back. I’ve been using ACF extensively on projects and I have never been in a situation where the documents never answered my issues. So stating the documents are ‘useless’ is an unfair/invalid argument if others, even beginners are finding it useful.

    ACF is one of the most well build plugins for WordPress so please be careful with your statements.
