  • This install other two plugins that you can deactivate and another one that you can’t uninstall even is you uninstall these three plugins.
    Tried deleting the folder but it caused a fatal error in my site. It was just a localhost site, and wasn’t a real problem, but I’ll just keep away from this.
    I checked another review and it seems the developer just doesn’t want to tell users that the plugins install other things.

    This has been discussed already and checked and even the review edited by the WordPress team.

    The MU plugin is used by all our plugins for particular features, it won’t damage anything and have 0 impact over your website.

    As mentioned in the plugin description, all the editor with all features are free and require nothing else than a plugin install:

    WP Smart Editor is totally free of charge, the only thing you can purchase is an upgrade of WP File Download (the enhanced version of the file manager) and WP Table Manager (the enhanced version of the table manager).

    The other plugins installed with the editor are the file manager and the table manager. If you don’t those features you can remove them of course. I don’t think the plugin can be considered as “spammy” or [ redacted ]

    Instead of dropping a review what would have helped us is the give us the fatal error you encountered and how it happens. We can fix all the errors and reply to every support request as you may have seen.
