    Hello,

I generated the terms and conditions via Complianz Premium and I encounter a difficulty: I sell digital services and products and these do not come into account regarding the right of refund and withdrawal. Whether in Switzerland or France, according to the law, there is no withdrawal or refund possible.
In addition, I think it would be good to add a clause for people who also offer membership/subscriptions ??
Also, I am obliged to disable the terms and conditions, while you make the changes.

Regarding the GDPR, I am not quite clear with the exact laws, but I know that Switzerland now has a specific law. Outside we are not part of the EU and cannot choose our country from the list… It would also be necessary to make an update ??

So far I’ve been using the EU settings, but I’m not comfortable since, as said above, we are not part of it and now have our own laws.
Are you planning to update Complianz for Switzerland soon?

Thank you very much and have a great day! ??

    Christelle

    Hi @christellepetry,

Please know that you can adjust the Terms and Conditions document in order to add or modify sections based on your specific needs, by editing the page in question (with Gutenberg or the Classic Editor) and setting the Document sync status to “Edit document and stop synchronization”. This will convert the shortcode to HTML content that can be edited freely.

With regards to the ‘main’ Complianz plugin, the available Legal Documents and the Cookie Banner have always treated Switzerland similar to the EU. When reading the generated Cookie Policy and Privacy Statement, you find see that these have been written for citizens from the EU and Switzerland.

For Complianz users, there is no need to take any action if you have already configured your site for the European Union. Complianz has always applied the EU consent banner, opt-in mechanism, and legal documentation for Switzerland as well.

Please refer to this article for further details regarding the matter: https://complianz.io/switzerland-fadp-legislation/

    Kind regards, Jarno
