• I’ve been searching around for a plugin that will pop up some kind of agreement box on page load. I am looking for something that appears when you first go to the site and you need to agree to the terms before you are able to go to the page. I have some sensitive family members and I want to make sure they know what they are getting into before they start reading my blog. So far I haven’t found what I’m looking for, any ideas? I apologize ahead of time if this info is already here somewhere, I wasn’t able to locate it. Thanks!

  • This is a complicated one, I haven’t seen anything like this before. In your theme header before the first output you need to put a piece of code which sees if an accept t&c cookie is present if not it loads a page with the terms and conditions on it and a piece of JavaScript so when the user accepts, an accept t&c cookie is set. The user can then view the site without interruptions.

Implementing this needs a knowledge of PHP and JavaScript. I could create this for you for a small fee if you don’t have the skills.
