• I am having trouble with an aspect of the Twenty Fourteen theme that simply drives me crazy: the default setting that causes page titles to overlay the featured image for the page.

Invariably, the page title obscures an important part of the lower image which is not what I want at all. I want to be able to move the page title downwards so the two elements DO NOT overlay each other.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to find out how to achieve this as earlier suggestions no longer appear to fix this problem.

  • Hey there Te.eM,

    Hope you’re well today!

Would you mind posting link to your pages where you have this so I can take a look? Generally this sound like it could be fixed with some custom CSS.

    Best regards,
    Bojan

Here is a link to show the problem I am having.

As you can see, it is ridiculous to have the page header overlay this image. In fact, I don’t want this result on ANY PAGE on this website.

Many thanks in advance for your assistance.

    Hey again Te.eM,

I’ve checked your site in different browsers (Chrome, FF, IE) and in all of them I’m having the same result https://screencast.com/t/GrZxeRtj. Page title and featured image are being displayed fine.

Since I’m not seeing the issue you’re referring to, can you please add a screenshot of the issue so I can understand it better?

    Please advise,
    Bojan
