temptitle when image attachments over 1M

    I have problems when posting a gallery of images that are over 1M in total. Under 1M the gallery is posted fine.

    I have increased the PHP memory to 96M but no joy.

    Plain text and PDF posts work fine.
    No problems when posting directly in the web site, only when using Postie.

    Any suggestions would be welcome.

    This happens when there is some kind of fatal error when an email is being processed. Running out of memory is one possibility.

    The best thing to do is install the Support AddOn, run another test then send the file from your media library to [email protected] and I will take a look.

    @trevor38 was exceeding the 30 second PHP limit on his host while the alternate image sizes were being generated. He didn’t need the extra image sizes so he disabled “Create Alternate Image Sizes” in Postie image settings and everything is working again.
