Temporary URL problem

  • This is hard to explain, hopefully someone understands:

    I have a URL bought at NameCheap – lets say XXXXXX.com
    This URL is pointing at a different space.
    I bought new space at NameCheap, to put the new updated site on.
    To build the site and preview it before moving the nameservers, I used a temporary URL using hosts.cx – lets say YYYYYYYY.hosts.cx

    This all worked, but now I try to search for the YYYYYYY.hosts.cx temp. URL and replace it with XXXXXX.com so I can then move the name servers. After the search and replace has looked, both search and replace fields are filled out with temp. URL YYYYYYY.hosts.cx and it says nothing needs to be updated.

    Does this make sense to anyone? Hopefully someone who has experienced it.
