Temporary error: Cannot read property ‘MediaUpload’ of undefined

  • I tried googling this but nothing came up.

    I’ve just experienced a temporary error. I tried to edit a page which I created and worked on yesterday, using block editor, but this morning, I couldn’t get to the edit screen and was told there was an error. I hadn’t made any changes to the site at all between times.

    The error looks like this: (mydomain to replace my actual domain)

    In the few minutes it too me to reset my password so that I could come on here and ask for some advice, it fixed itself!

    So I don’t know if this is a temporary issue caused by a server thingy on my host’s end? I also put my site through Cloudflare for https, so it could be something to do with that as well. I did have issues with uploading images a few months ago, but that issue has gone now.

    anyway, I thought I’d post this in case someone else encounters it. I googled it but couldn’t see anyone posting about this before.

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty-One theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

    If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    Same issue
    I disabled all plugins and changed theme to default and same issue appear when try to add a new page

    The editor has encountered an unexpected error.
