Temporary Disable Bulk Discount by Product

  • Anyone know how to temporarily disable the bulk discount by product (or even across the board if that’s the only option)? Short of disabling the plugin entirely.

    I would like to temporarily disable the bulk discount, but simply unchecking the Bulk Discount Enabled doesn’t seem to change anything. It still gives the discount in the shopping cart. I have several levels of discount for many products and I would like to avoid having to re-enter everything when we reinstate the discount.

    Why have the “enable” checkbox if unchecking it doesn’t change anything?

  • 1. If you have a caching plugin make sure that it’s disabled and the cache is clear before disabling the plugin.

    2. If the cause of the issue isn’t a caching plugin, simply deactivate the plugin.

    3. If all else fails a combination of the above points may be required.

    Thanks Bob and Happy New Year. I tried clearing all cache and also verified the enable box was unchecked on all products…nothing worked. Ultimately I had to deactivate the plugin.

    Disappointing it doesn’t work how you think it should. But at least I have my immediate problem solved.

    Did you make sure that the caching program was off before and after clearing the cache? If so, the problem could be a javascript conflict.
