temporarily removing WP pages

  • I would like to temporarily remove some pages from my wordpress website while retaining the option to easily add them back later. What is the best way to do that. I will need to remove both parent & child pages.

    Update: So I saved the contents of each page, then completely deleted (trash) the pages. So now the pages are in the trash.

    But I still can’t get them off the menu. As noted earlier, when I “Remove” them from the menu, they temporarily disappear, but when I hit the save button, absolutely nothing happens and the pages are still there when I go back to the menu or to the trailsnet website. I’m confused why it absolutely won’t let me remove items/pages from my menu. It seems like it should be an easy process and it looks easy… but it just won’t work.?!
