For all users interested in this plugin. We have received notice that the plugin is temporarily closed because it states to be GDPR compliant.

We will update an adjusted version today, which will then have to be reviewed. This can take a few days. In the meantime, you can find us at https://complianz.io for both free and premium version, and for any questions you have.

We are sorry for the inconvenience!

  • I don’t understand Rogier. Does this mean that the plugin is not GDPR compliant?

    Hi Marco,

WordPress does not allow plugins to state that they make your site compliant, whether the plugin actually does so or not is not relevant. This is meant to protect WordPress from claims.

This means we can say “Complianz GDPR aims to support you as best it can with compliancy”, but we are not allowed to state that the plugin makes your site compliant.

In the previous readme.txt I stated “Complianz GDPR will help you make your site compliant”. I don’t think that’s a problem. But the banner contained an element “GDPR ready in 30 minutes”, which I think was the problem. This has been removed, and resubmitted, and we’re waiting for the reaction now.

    Crystal clear! ??
