• Hi,

I’ve built most of my website before installing Elementor Pro. I’d like to build a new page template used for single product pages using Elementor, but it doesn’t apply the header or footer templates I built using Lemmony. Is there a way I can make the block templates I built compatible with Elementor?

Edit: The Default Kit in Elementor shows the header and footer functioning normally, but when I try to build a template in Elementor it doesn’t anymore. Maybe a better question is if there is a way to create the block templates in Elementor and have them be visible/applicable with the Lemmony companion builder?

    Hi there,

    That’s a good question.

We have tested Elementor with the Lemmony theme for creating basic pages and posts, and it worked well. Do you know if we can replicate this issue with the Elementor free version? Currently, we don’t have access to the Pro version.

    Hello,

Yes, the problem still occurs on the free version of Elementor as well. My main issue is I would like to disable the “Add to Cart” button completely since the website will serve primarily as just a catalog. But when I delete the “Add to Cart” block it also deletes the product variations and I haven’t been able to find a way around it through coding or additional plugins. I decided to try Elementor to fix the problem but I run into the same issue as well as the additional issue of the theme’s header and footer templates not wanting to apply to the Elementor pages.

Do you have any solutions for just disabling the button while keeping the variations visible? If I can solve that, I don’t need to use Elementor anymore. My theory was that I could get more specific editing options to disable the button with Elementor but I still ran into the same issue.

    Hi there,

There should be many ways to disable the “Add to Cart” button. One of the simplest would be to try a plugin that does something like that, for example, this one.

    Hello,

That does work but the product variations are now not visible when I have the plugin activated. What I’m looking for is to remove the button and keep the product variations visible.

    Hello,

Since this issue isn’t directly related to the theme itself, we recommend exploring other similar plugins. One of them might have the exact features you’re searching for.
