Templates not updating

We have followed your guide here
https://github.com/Automattic/liveblog#overriding-default-templates

But when we modify any of the template files in either the theme directory or the plugin directory we are unable to see the changes.

Is there some caching? is the HTML being bundled up?

Any help would be grateful as we need to change the templates.
