How do I edit the single contest template? Also, how do I set the default colors for the plugin as a whole? I don’t want to have to change the colors every single time I enter a new contest.

    Hi @thekendog,

    Thanks for reaching out.

It is not directly possible to set default colors globally for TotalContest (unless you use custom CSS). Still, you may use any post duplication plugin to duplicate your contests so you can copy all of its configurations (that includes the design as well).

Well that’s a bummer. What about templates? For instance, how do I get the title of the contest to show on the contest page? It currently doesn’t.

@thekendog TotalContest uses the official custom post types provided by WordPress. Therefore, in the contest page, the title will appear according to your theme style. TotalContest does not dictate how the post type looks like and give it all to your theme style.

The only part that is controlled (design wise) by TotalContest is what is inside the contest itself in the frontend (like the Participate/Submissions tabs and their content). The content of that can be controlled via the block builder and some design aspects can be changed from the “design” tab.

If you are interested in changing something like content or style for something that is not supported by TotalContest settings page, then you will need to customize the code.

If you give me more details about your need I might be able to give you more help.

Curious, why did you remove featured image from contests?

    Hello @thekendog,

Our product team thought that contests usually do not need featured images as they don’t often get listed on a side (most of the time it is an integration of a contest inside a post or a page that will have the featured image)

Can you please provide us with more details about your use case so they can make use of it and develop TotalContest further.

I have a page that is listing all of my contests and I’d like some images to be displayed. I was able to use the

    totalcore/filters/post-type/args

hook to add thumbnail support back. Just found it odd that it was removed.
