Template Woes

  • I uploaded templates to my new website
    PLEASE LOOK UP :

    On top it says “Your title here” and “Just another WordPress weblog”
    Why is it coming ?
    On another hosting It was replaced automatically by the site URL.

    I found now alternative while choosing the template

    QUES : HOW CAN WE REMOVE IT & Replace with own title

    Can anyone help ?

    I am new to this and wanted a web page using WYSIWYG editors so chose wordpress

    sorry that should read ” NO alternative ” instead of ” NOW alternative ” on the third line from bottom

    Have you given your blog a Blog Title and Tagline? Check in Dashboard -> Settings -> General.
