Template Suggestions

I would like some suggestions on the best (and easiest) template to use for my new website https://winefoodgenie.com I currently have Colorway Lite, but have some limitations. There is no side widget on the home page.

I want to be able to have a slider with my current posts showing as photos or videos in a top widget.

When looking for a template would I be best to look for 3-column, portfolio, etc.?
