Thanks. It might be and I know I should clean that up. (I never really understand what it’s telling me to do though.) And if I check the validator how do I know where the problem lies, ie sidebar, footer, etc… ?

On that validation page click the Show Source box and hit Revalidate. Every error line will become a clickable link that takes you to the exact location of the error.
