Template pages won’t show content in the original language after new language

I have created two Elementor Pro template pages in English. Everything works fine. Then I activated Polylang on those template types, added German version of the content and I experienced the followings:

– The variables (eg. the post title, the pod name) translate fine
– The manually written parts (eg. the form field names) get stuck on German in either languages.
– I edited the English template by adding extra fields but the changes won’t show up anymore.
– I deleted the German versions of both templates, and the changes that I had made to the English template showed up immediately.

Please help!
