Template override is not working for me

To override the single event template for the Block Editor, follow these steps:

2. Copy this file to your theme’s directory: [your-theme]/tribe/events/single-event-blocks.php.
3. Apply your changes to the copied file within your theme.

Thank you for your message and clarification.

I can see that you’re using Elementor, and if you are using Elementor Pro, it would be understandable for your template file customizations to not take effect, as the Event Single Template with Elementor Theme Builder template will take precedence over the template files.
