    Hi Support,

I’m trying to customize the template: form-verify-email.php.

According to the template, it states: “This template can be overridden by copying it to yourtheme/woocommerce/checkout/thankyou-verify-email.php.”

I created the new thankyou-verify-email.php file and cleared the cache (both on the server and WordPress), but the new file isn’t being applied. (Screenshot: https://ibb.co/n8mPXLd7)

I also checked under WooCommerce > Status > Overrides, but I don’t see the new file listed there.

    Overrides:

    Hi there,

The form-verify-email.php template follows WooCommerce’s standard template override system, so copying it to /yourtheme/woocommerce/checkout/thankyou-verify-email.php should work. However, if the override isn’t being applied, here are a few things you can check:

    1. Double-check that the file is placed in the correct directory: /wp-content/themes/yourtheme/woocommerce/checkout/thankyou-verify-email.php If you’re using a child theme, make sure it’s in the child theme directory.
    2. Theme Compatibility – Some themes, especially those heavily modifying WooCommerce, may override template files differently. You can temporarily switch to a default theme like Storefront to see if the template override works.

If the issue persists, it may require a deeper look into theme or plugin customizations, which is outside our scope of support. I can recommend?WooExperts?and?Codeable.io?as options for getting professional help. Alternatively, you can also ask your development questions in the??WooCommerce Community Slack?as custom code falls outside our usual?scope of support

Let us know if you have any further questions!
