Hi, i need to override some plugin template files. I’ve tried to create a folder named as restropress_templates and inside that make a copy of the templates to override from the restropress templates folder but it’s not working, plugin still use default templates. What am I doing wrong?

    Hello,

have you created any folder inside restropress_templates or directly using the files from there?

I haven’t created any folder.. For example, to override the file “rpress-before-fooditem-container.php” I’m copying it from “plugins/restropress/templates/rpress-before-fooditem-container.php” to “themes/my-child-theme/restropress_templates/rpress-before-fooditem-container.php”.

Have you tried restropress without the “_restropress” part?

I got it, thanks. The right way is copy files into a folder called only “restropress”.

Oh I meant without the “_templates” part in the folder title. Glad you got it right.
