    Hello!

We suddenly encounter a problem with the form where users are ment to subscribe.

    The error says:
Template not found ‘aok.php’ (location: ”).
Please correct your template name in [maileon-contact … template=”aok.php”]

My question is if that is a problem of wordpress/plugin or more likely one that comes from the Maileon account and settings?

    Kind regards!

    Armin

I found the problem. With the latest update the plugin refuses to find views which are placed outside of the plugins own views directory. So anyone with custom views outside of wp-content/plugins/xqueue-maileon/views getting a “template not found” error … just place your views inside the path above and you should be good.

    Cheers!

    Hi,

placing templates inside the plugins own directory is not recommended as wordpress deletes the whole folder, when updating.

I looked into the issue and placed a template in wp-content/uploads/xqueue-maileon/views. I tested it under WordPress 5.3.3 and 5.4.1 but was not able to reproduce the problem.

Are you using a multipage setup and can you maybe tell me what version of WordPress you are using?

What was the displayed error message (there should be the expected path)?

    Kind regards,
    Marcus

For your information: with version 2.9.0 we added a new configuration page, which also names the absolute folders for templates and lists all available found templates.

I will close the issue now.
