template modification not reflected

    I have a multilingual site and am using the same template in a section, which is inserted in each page for all languages. When I modify the template, the contents in each page are not changed, so the modification is not reflected. Is that not the purpose of a template to modify once and to have the change everywhere where inserted? The content is changed only if I reinsert the template.

  • Do you have a caching and/or optimisation plugin in use? Then empty their cache or switch it off completely during editing.

    Clearing the browser cache can also help.
