I just posted this same problem. It was working fine until I updated to new version of Elementor (1.8.2) Did you recently update as well? Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon

Yes i just tested it with another site that didnt have the new (1.8.2) version and the import worked fine

Same here, tested on multiple sites. The latest update broke the import function. Hopefully we’ll see an update soon. In the meantime, I’ll have to roll back to an older version to import templates

Same issues here. Need to go to Elementor Pro site for pro support (hopefully they know of this issue).

I think I have found the solution to this problem that Elementor is presenting in its latest versions (1.8.1 and 1.8.2), Elementor is simply reinstalled in the previous version 1.8.0, which worked for me, allowing importing templates without problem. It only remains to hope that the very efficient creators of Elementor, adjust this small problem in new versions. Sorry for the translation (google) since I do not speak English very well. Good luck
