We appreciate your positive feedback about our plugin, and we’re glad to hear that you are generally satisfied with it.

Regarding the issue you experienced with the account activation email template, we are unable to replicate the problem on our end. We successfully selected the ‘Customer new account’ email type from the “Email type” dropdown and edited the template without any issues.

If you encounter an issue where the ‘Customer new account’ Email type is not listed in the dropdown, kindly share a screenshot of the plugin’s email editor interface with the dropdown clicked. Additionally, providing the WooCommerce System status report would be helpful. You can access this report in WooCommerce by navigating to WooCommerce -> Status -> Get system status report.

This information will assist us in understanding and addressing the issue more effectively.

It’s not the “Customer new account” template, but the (let’s call it) “Activate your account” template from WordPress that includes the activation link for the account created in the woocommerce ordering process. See screenshot “account-activation-email”.

However, it appears that the email template you wish to customize, which we can refer to as an activation email, is not one of the default email templates provided by WooCommerce. As a result, it is not available in the list of templates that Decorator – WooCommerce Email Customizer supports for customization.

I just figured that the activation email is created by the plugin German Market for DSGVO/GDPR double-opt-in purposes. So I guess that’s the reason why it’s not possible to style it with Decorator. Unless there’s a way in Decorator to scan for other E-Mails and import them to the drop-down menu?

Thanks for your help though. In the meantime I’ve adjusted the design of that one email to look as close as possible to the Decorator settings.

Thank you for the clarification, and we appreciate your understanding. The Decorator – WooCommerce Email Customizer lists email types based on compatibility and support with WooCommerce default emails. Currently, the plugin doesn’t provide compatibility with the mentioned plugin, the German Market for DSGVO/GDPR. Since the activation email is generated by this third-party plugin, it doesn’t get listed for customization within the plugin.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a direct way to import or scan for additional email types from third-party plugins. For email types generated by other plugins to be listed and available for customization, compatibility with those plugins needs to be ensured.

We continuously work on improving compatibility and adding support for various plugins. Your requirement has been added to our development backlog, and we will evaluate the feasibility of supporting this plugin in future releases.
