Template Files ignored in Child Theme

    Template files are being ignored if placed in the child theme, e.g.:

    child-theme/plugins/events-manager/templates/event-single.php is ignored, however

    parent-theme/plugins/events-manager/templates/event-single.php works.

    How can I get EM to use the child theme template pages?

    UPDATE: cleared server WP cache and it’s now working. Re-creating the template file in parent then deleting it may have helped in correcting the re-routing.
