Template customize not working

I followed these directions to remove the “home” label from the directory listing on the webpage:
Navigate to the Connections : Templates admin page and click the Customize Button for the Default template.
The page will reload displaying the Customizer on the left and a preview on the right.
Click the Back Arrow in the upper left of the Customizer.
Click the Advanced tab.
Click an entry name in the Preview. It does not matter which entry. The Preview should refresh displaying the single entry view.
I entered the following for the Address Format: (removing the %label%)
%line1% %line2% %line3% %city% %state% %zipcode% %country% %district% %county%
Publish the changes.
Exit the Customizer.

The listing in the preview shows without the “HOME” but when I view the webpage, the “HOME” title still appears. even in incogntio browser window. The site is not publically view able as its on a dev server….
