Template and plug-in installation – YouTube/Vimeo

  • Ladies and Gents, I am need of some guidance as to how to setup my personal site so that it has a high-fashion, sleek look and will support YouTube and Vimeo video embedding.

    I am trying to promote my journalistic works (i.e., written articles, photos, interviews, documentary clips etc.).

    I would say that my coding skills are very beginner, but I do understand the general concepts, as well as what I don’t know how to do.

    Can anyone give me some tips as to how to install a selected template and ensure that I am able to embed my YouTube and Vimeo videos onto said template?

    It outlines the basics on how to install themes using ftp or through the WordPress Themes directory. If you have follow up questions, please ask.

    As far as embedding videos you can do that through posts/pages and widgets depending on how you want your site content.
