  • Check that your WordPress’ Frontpage option (in Reading) is set to Latest Posts.

Same issue with me. I’m just seeing my static home page – no presentation page despite being enabled and frontpage being set to static home page.

Same problem …. the update 1.4.0.1 has completely broken the presentation page system. Have emailed author.

Whatever setting is chosen for Columns content Frontpage option (Latest posts, featured,…), presentation page can’t be shown…
1.4.0.1 update has broken this function anyhow.

    Help team !

I got this fixed 100% using Zed’s solution above. Go to settings > reading and set to “Latest Posts”. It then works 100%.

I also had a problem where I lost my separate blog page because of changing that setting but that was also easily fixed with Zed’s help by opening my blog page and changing it’s template format from “default” to “blog template”.

    Hope this helps anyone.

mitchellk is correct, it does fix the problem. However, I noticed that when I made that change, the bar under the title and meta data indicating that the post is a sticky post disappeared. I will keep playing with it. Apparently, changing the page for the blog to template “blog template” eliminated the bar. Seems strange to me why that would make a difference.

I DO FACE A SIMILAR PROBLEM.
the presentation page… the slider works fine only if i set random posts,
in case i select sticky posts (my default option) or any other option with the posts, it does nt work. Any idea?

It’s working on my site – goto appearance>customize>static frontpage set to latest posts.

Then goto appearance>Tempera Settings> presentation page and disable show posts on front page.

    Hope this helps

yes i got that, however, now my home page
which was a copy of the Front page has gone blank
what to do to restore it? i don′t remember if it was just a link or more than that…
