    Hi All

We are developing a lot of wordpress sites. But we have an issue with some of them.

When we develope the wordpress site, we do that on a temp url fx(“site.dk.linux13.curanetserver.dk”)
    With wordpress set to “no-index”.

When the site i ready to go live we change the WordPress Address (URL) and the Site Address (URL) in general settings to “https://site.dk”. And change the “no-index” setting.

The problem is that in some cases – not all. the temp url doesn’t redirect to the main url, therefore creating dublicate content.

the canonical tag is set to the right url – but google still crawls the temp url as a seperate site.

We can have this effect, and how do we change it.

    Morten
