Perhaps someone may be able to shed some light on an issue I am having.

I have been using WP DB Manager for years now and find it amazing and a life saver.

My issue is this; I recently had my hosting account (GoDaddy) changed from Shared Hosting to Web/Grid Hosting and this involved a server migration.

Since then I have been getting the
Your backup folder MIGHT be visible to the public
To correct this issue, move the .htaccess file from wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager to wp-content/backup-db.

This applies to all my domains.

The .htaccess file is in the correct folder as it always has been. This is not the first time my account has been migrated, however, never before to Web/Grid Hosting.

Has anyone come across this before?
Anyone know how to resolve this issue?

    Many thanks

    Shane

Is this the actual word for word “To correct this issue, move the .htaccess file from wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager to wp-content/backup-db.” message you are seeing? if that is the case, I don’t think the path to the backup-db folder is correct.

It should be something like /home/gamerz/wordpress/wp-content/backup-db

No, not word for word; I removed the server path bit from the above code.
    Thanks anyway.

It always worked until server migration.

    Lester, you are a genius.

I had discounted the absolute server path as, despite many migrations the absolute path never changed.

I had a look: This time it did.

Changed absolute path to backup folder and problem solved.

Thank you for your input, it is most appreciated.
