Hi there, is possible have a membership feature also on telegram channel? In this way I’ll display the article only to the users that have subscribed a membership on the site.

    Hi there,

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.

This is unfortunately not available at this point in time, We have already added this to our development schedule to support Telegram with Paid Memberships Pro.

Here is the issue on our GitHub repository – https://github.com/strangerstudios/paid-memberships-pro/issues/706

You are able to add what other features you may find useful. Unfortunately I cannot give an exact ETA when this will be implemented.

Please let me know if you have any further questions regarding this.

Hope this will added soon, I really need this feature. I’m expecting this type of working:

User with a paid membership can access to the telegram channel and see exclusive content, non payment users instead should not be able to see any content on telegram. Also the telegram chat should display the content of the article not the link.

What’s your idea about this? Could you tell me more?

I think the best way will be to use the PMPro Zapier Add On to add user’s to a specific Telegram Group/Chat.

You could have two groups, one for non-members and one for members only, although if you have one group for all registered users on your sites it might help to up-sell if they see all the premium member content.

They won’t be able to view the content itself if they do not have the relevant membership level.

Could you explain this better? If I create a telegram channel and an user not registered to the site entere in it, him can even see the message of membership article posted… this part is not clear to me

If you use the Zapier Add On (If Telegram is available), you can automatically add members to Telegram.

Alternatively, what you can do is write up a custom function that will automatically add in members to a Telegram group.

    I hope this helps.

Ok, but an user (not invited by me) can even join to the group? If yes, this will not solve the problem, if not, for doing this I should only create the group, associated the bot and the zapier service?

Ok, but an user (not invited by me) can even join to the group?

I am not too sure about Telegram and what restriction it offers and how user’s are able to join. If anyone inside the group can join or if only an admin can invite user’s to join.

You are able to reach out to one of our partner developers to consult with if you need assistance in setting this up.

    Thank you for your understanding.

I’ll wait your telegram addon, can you tell me more about this? Which type of feature will have?

This is still in the early stages of discussion, you may add what features you’d like to see over here – https://github.com/strangerstudios/paid-memberships-pro/issues/706

I replied to the issue, let me know if all is clear. Unfortunately at the moment I’m really busy to work on this mechanism, hope that you give it a look, thanks.
