    Hello Nico. Wonderful plugin. ??

    Do you know about TED?
They have great videos and it is a very safe site.
Their site supports WordPress and their code (with subtitle parameters) is like:
    [ted id=685 lang=el]
Give it a try (the above is a good presentation).

Unfortunately when your plugin is activated, on smaller screens, the right side of the video gets cut off.
Can you please have a look at it?

    thank you,
    marikamitsos

This plugin not supports the TED shortcode syntax you show above. You can however take the iframe embed codes from TED and paste them into the shortcode creator and that will work fine!

And where should I look? You gave me no link. You probably have a embed that is created by wordpress the default feature.

For general iframe embeds the id is simply the URL from any Iframe embed codes. Look here. https://nextgenthemes.com/2013/02/ted-works-with-this-plugin-but-only-this-way-for-now/

I just noticed that re-sizing not works with TED, you need to rrefresh after.

I am sorry for misleading you. My mistake. ??
It is actually jetpack we have activated and it is THAT plugin that supports the above mentioned TED shortcode.

I just noticed that re-sizing not works with TED, you need to rrefresh after.

No matter what we do (iframe or code, while both your plugin and jetpack are activated), TED videos do NOT resize. hmmmm…

    Any suggestions?

Does the resizeing on my site with the link above work for you (after refresh?
Why you need to have the jetpack module for videos and my plugin activated at the same time? Makes no sense to me.

This plugin is not made to work together with other video embed plugins. I don’t know if jetpack has a [iframe] shortcode, if so then try to change the shortcode tag in the options of this plugin then the shortcode itself.

Cant and wont help you further if you not give me a link to a example with your problem.

    Hello Nico,

Cant and wont help you further if you not give me a link to a example with your problem.

Since it is only a friend’s site (don’t know if they want it published yet) I will ask for your understanding and give it one more try without a link.

    Yes it does. ??

I don’t. My mistake as mentioned before. ??

I have jetpack deactivated and use “your” iframe code. On my site it works exactly as on your site. But.
    I have 2 issues:
    1. Where did you find“your” iframe embed code?
    [iframe id="https://embed.ted.com/talks/lang/de/camille_seaman_photos_from_a_storm_chaser.html"]
The iframe code provided “by the site” (if you press the button embed) is:
    <iframe src="https://embed.ted.com/talks/lang/de/camille_seaman_photos_from_a_storm_chaser.html" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" webkitAllowFullScreen mozallowfullscreen allowFullScreen></iframe>

    2. The video by “your” code auto-plays. How can we avoid that?

    Thank you for your time.

Now everything works fine and you do not use jetpack ??????

The embed code I used was the exact same you found. I quote myself:

“You can however take the iframe embed codes from TED and paste them into the shortcode creator and that will work fine!”

The shortcode creator is the video icon button from this plugin.

Cant tell you how to prevent autoplay, possibly you cant but ask TED Talks about that.
