Technorati

I have included ht*p://rpc.technorati.com/rpc/ping as an update service. I have a Technorati account, and I have “claimed” my WordPress site. One of my categories is “design”. How does this work? I have enabled ping throughout, and edited one of the posts in my “design” category. Should the post now appear as a tagged post on the Technorati tags page for “Design”? Or does it only get picked up when I make a brand new post?

Also, does this work for WordPress pages as well as posts?
